Time to take some rest

I’ve promised I would try my best to hang on. But this time I couldn’t, I’ve got fried!

For less than 8 months I’ve been working in this company doing ASP, and I felt it’s now the time moving on. I don't feel bitter about it because I expected it, about 1 month ago, they asked me to take some days off using my paid holidays. Despite of not willing to do so, we just don’t have enough work! Our company has failed bidding on some important projects that contributed to this difficult situation. As a result, I’ve spoken to my boss on Thursday, and he told me that they couldn’t keep me for any longer (I’m the least experienced in the company). I wish that's the real reason behind all of this, and only time will tell. This is a great opportunity for me to re-think what I would like to do in my future, and for the time being I’m still working with them until end of December. So I’ve got to enjoy it as I don’t know when I’ll get my next job, IT industry is really in its trough over here in HK.
